‘The Poet Sings’ brings to life world-class poems that have been set to music by eminent composers.  The renowned poet, scholar, teacher & classical music critic of NPR’s ‘Fresh Air’ Lloyd Schwartz will read each poem prior to the musical rendition during the concert.  However, at 2:30 pm, one hour prior to the concert, Dr. Schwartz will lead an informative discussion of poetry and music in the concert hall.
