We will also perform some of our favorite songs that reflect King’s message of freedom, equality, and peace.

Bach Is Back!  Salisbury Singers will present a celebration of cantatas 17, 93, and 111 by J. S. Bach, accompanied by the Bach Consort of Worcester, which will also perform Bachs famous concerto for oboe and violin. Trinity Lutherans newly renovated sanctuary will provide the beautiful setting for these most glorious works!

40th Anniversary Concert:  Requiem in d — Mozart;  Song for St. Cecilia’s Day — Clifton Noble with Orchestra and Soloists:  soprano Andrea Ehrenreich; mezzo Pamela Dellal; tenor Matthew Anderson; and baritone John Salvi.
AVM opens a year-long 40th anniversary celebration with the Mozart Requiem performed at its first concert in May 1978.  Noble’s Song for St. Cecilia’s Day was commissioned by AVM for its 20th Anniversary in May 1998.

A Tribute to Bernstein and Sondheim: The collaboration of Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim produced West Side Story, a Broadway classic.  Musicals such as Company and A Little Night Music cemented Sondheims reputation as a master songwriter and lyricist.  Salisbury Singers presents a tapestry of the songs from these musicals and others, in a splendid evening of classic Broadway melodies.
